Residential - Beach House
This beachfront home in the USVI was designed for the vacation rental market, with two master bedrooms and a great-room opening onto a deck with hot tub, overlooking the beach and ocean. The owners chose Force 10 because of the site's vulnerability to hurricane force winds and also because of the speed of construction.

The homeowners chose a custom turquoise color for the exterior of the house. Force 10 matched this color for the acrylic rendering used for the exterior finish. The decoration on the gable over the deck entrance and the galvanized "tile" roof are both custom features available from Force 10. Inside, a "scissor truss" was used to create a vaulted ceiling. | ||

The force 10 supplied steel columns and beams supporting the deck roof were covered with wood to create an island ambiance. The owners chose locally supplied windows, hurricane shutters and a wood railing to create the custom look they desired. | ||
