Force 10 Flooring System
Materials:
Bearers and joists are manufactured from coil steel and have a hot dipped zinc coating of 300 g/m2 minimum. Thickness and minimum guaranteed yield strengths of materials used in the manufacture of flooring components:
1. Joists: 1.2mm and 1.6mm thick 300 MPa.
2. Bearers: 2.0mm. 450 MPa.
Lengths:
Bearers and joists are produced in standard lengths to provide a modular floor system based on a one-meter grid.
1. Joists are available in lengths of 1,2,3, and 4 meters.
2. Bearers are available in lengths of 1,2,3, and 4 meters.
Design Data:
1. Profile Bearer 175 X 106 "I" section. Joist 175 X 50 "Z" section.
2. Maximum joist spans accommodate live loadings of internal domestic construction of 1.5 kPa. Simple variations of spans allow for the greatly increased loading of 3 kPa required for commercial applications.
Span of Joists:
     Domestic loading 1.5 kPa 4000mm.
Commercial loading 3.0 kPa. 3000 mm.
3. Bearers provide support for load bearing walls and roof loading induced by wind, earthquake and snow.
Force 10 Wall System - The Force 10 Wall System is a modular steel-framed panel system.
Materials:
The wall panels are steel frames sheeted both sides with 6.0mm fiber-cement board sheets and pressure injected with polyurethane foam. The steel frame consists of 64 X 35 X 1.2mm 300/450 MPa studs bridged to top and bottom with interlocking steel and nogs.

Sizes:
Panel widths are based on a modular width of 1000mm and heights of 2435mm, 2700mm and 3000mm and thickness of 76mm. Panel weight is 58 kg.

Design Notes:
1. The wall panels have been designed to withstand wind forces up to 71 m/s using +0.8 internal and -0.6 external factor giving a combined pressure coefficient of 1.4.
2. The allowable racking force per panel connected to bearer when used in conjunction with other panels is 4.0 Kn.
3. The panel thermal insulation value R is 3.0m2 °C/W.
4. Tests of the enclosed panel indicating combustibility and early fire hazard properties of materials provided the following results:
INDEX RANGE RATING
Ignitability Index 0 to 20 0
Spread of Flame Index 0 to 20 0
Heat Evolved Index 0 to 20 0
Smoke Developed Index 0 to 20 5

Force 10 Roofing System
Materials:
The trusses and panels are cold-formed steel frames manufactured from 1.2mm and 1.6mm 300/450 MPa coated coil steel and have a hot dipped zinc coating of 300 g/m2 minimum.

Sizes:
Roof widths are based on a modular width of 1000mm up to 12 meters and come in two configurations of a standard 20° pitched truss and a 'Bell Truss'.

Design Notes:
1. The roof system has been designed to withstand wind forces up to 71m/s using +0.8 internal and -0.9 external factor giving a combined pressure coefficient of 17.
2. Structural profile of truss members is 40 X 65 X 30mm top hat section with a 40 X 30 'C' section for secondary struts.
3. Trusses have been economically designed to withstand wind speed volocities in the following categories:
33 m/s 42 m/s 59 m/s 65 m/s 71 m/s
